Smudgy Cheeks Day 87 (Wednesday, June 22nd)

Today I hiked 12.6 miles to the Bromley Shelter.  I was the last hiker to leave the Stratton Pond Shelter this moring.  I decided to sleep in and it felt great!

It started to rain today just as I was hitting my third mile.  The next shelter was a half a mile away so I went there to take a break and dry out my clothes.  It was also nice to stop and rest my legs.  Before I went to bed I filtered water to use in the morning.  It's always good to get chores finished early.
